How much should we expect to pay for your services?
Fees are based on a sliding scale based on the project scope and your organization’s relative size and budget. I work with a range of organizations, from a small part-time teams to large established global organizations. Please reach out for more detailed pricing information.
We need help but I do not know where to start.
The most important thing is to know you need some additional support, so you are already on your way. On our initial call we will discuss what is happening and how to think about a path forward. We will continue to refine and clarify what is needed during our work together. I will arm you with a concise and clear view of your current state and priorities.
How we will work together if I’m not “a strategy person.”
I have spoken with leading minds in their field who said “but you should talk to an expert” or “but that probably isn’t helpful.” I find that some of the most incredible people doing work that matters are also some of the humblest. More often than not, after a few conversations I find that the long term plans, priority measures of success, key initiatives largely all already exist. They simply need to be distilled and tidied into a coherent form.
I have not worked with a consultant before, what’s it like?
A consultant is anyone who provides expert advice professionally. There are as many types of consultants as there are… school teachers - or personal trainers - or parents! My approach is collaborative and inquisitive. I will be asking questions and playing back what I hear. You can expect a series of one-on-one dialogues, team interviews, and facilitated group engagement. I will deliver end products that you will use early and often, e.g., your strategic plan, your annual business plan, your cultural change plan.

I bring two decades of commitment to diversity and equity. I am a sociologist who has studied social stratification. I am a leader and practitioner of teams dedicated to inclusion. And I bring my own lived experiences as a women of color and second generation immigrant daughter.
